Chaim Yitzchok Cohen (born 1952) is a teacher, writer, and religious leader who is active in UK and whose writings are featured regularly in publications internationally, including Beis Moshiach Magazine. Upbringing and education A native of Belfast, Northern Ireland, Cohen studied at Gateshead Talmudical College and has taught classes in Jewish studies in various schools in Inner London. Chaim Yitzchok Cohen comes from a family of two boys. His brother, Rabbi Moshe Cohen is Rabbi of Aish HaTorah Institute in Los Angeles, USA. Chaim Yitzchok Cohen is married to Ruthie (nee Lewin) and has seven boys and two girls. His sons hold senior Rabbinic posts in London, Miami, New York & Sydney Australia. Career In July 1994, Cohen founded Beis Menachem - Beis Moshiach UK, Chabad Community Centre and is known for his inspiring sermons, thought-provoking articles. Cohen is the founding member and executive director of Chabad UK, an organization that offers a positive and tolerant ideology that provides them with the opportunity to make real and positive changes in their community and the world, helping to make the world a better place with acts of goodness and kindness.
