Centennial Campus Magnet Middle School is a magnet middle school in Raleigh, North Carolina. CCMS has had 2 different principals since the school was built, Edye Morris-Bryant and Dr. Kenneth Branch, and one assistant principal, Dr. Gloria Jones. Currently there is one primary principal, Edye Morris-Bryant, and one assistant principal, Shawnya Abdullah. Dr. Gloria Jones also served as assistant principal until 2007, and was named the Wake County Assistant Principal of the Year in 2006.
The school was built on land owned by North Carolina State University. CCMS's logo is a red wolf, so the school sports teams and groups are often referred to as the Centennial Campus Red Wolves. In July 2006, the school introduced a motto: HOWL. This acronym stands for honor, order, wisdom, and leadership. Each class has different rules under each category.
This school was built under a contract stipulating that there can never be trailers or have more than 600 students. This was to avoid overcrowding, to ensure a quality education for the students.
CCMS has electives like Computer Aided Design, and Exploring Career Decisions. This school follows a calendar called the Wake County Modified Calendar.
