Catfish Hughes

Francis Frank "Catfish" Hughes (born March 30, 1987) is an American sports radio talk show host and American sportswriter. Since May of 2014, Hughes has hosted Thru the Wire Sports Talk Radio which has been heard on both ESPN Radio and Fox Radio. In September of 2014, it was announced that Hughes was the official East Coast Voice of the Lakers.
Career
Thru the Wire Sports Talk Radio
In May 2013, Hughes was selected to host Thru the Wire Sports(TTWS) Talk Radio in the greater Charlotte/Gastonia area on WGNC 1450 on Friday's from 5-6 pm. Thru the Wire was quickly syndicated on Saturday's in Bowling Green, Kentucky on Fox Sports Radio 1340 WBGN and on ESPN Radio in New Bern, North Carolina on WWNB 103.9 FM and 1490 AM. Using his industries ties, Hughes and company have featured many notable guests including, Pete Rose,
Larry Holmes, Tameka Cottle, Al Bernstein, Freeway Rick Ross, Todd Marinovich, Muggsy Bogues, Dr.Dre son, Curtis, Tim Donaghy, Eddie Chambers, and more.
East Coast Voice of the Los Angeles Lakers
In September of 2014, Hughes was named the official, unofficial East Coast voice of the Los Angeles Lakers.Hughes radio show now consists of 15 minutes dedicated to Laker News, and he writes daily updates on EastCoastLakers.com.Hughes will follow the Lakers on the road for the 2014-2015 writing and filming a documentary.
