Cartoon Network Universe: Project Exonaut

Cartoon Network Universe: Project Exonaut is a multiplayer online action game developed by Cartoon Network Digital. Project Exonaut uses the Unity game engine as its client technology basis. The Project Exonaut beta was released on April 6, 2011 as a "sneak release" for play testing purposes. The official release date for Project Exonaut released was April 25, 2011, a couple weeks after the beta release. Project Exonaut is a free-to-play game. No subscription is required, although only players who register through Cartoon Network's website have the ability to gain extra exosuits and choose their own faction. Other players ("Guests") who do not do register will lose their ability.
Gameplay
In Project Exonaut, the player takes control of an exosuit, a high-tech armored suit, that resembles many Cartoon Network characters. Players must choose between two sides, the Atlas Brigade or the Banzai Squadron. The story reveals that the Exonaut Academy split into these two factions due to differing opinions about which strategy would be best to fight the invading "Megalith." The Atlas Brigade favored strength and power, while the Banzai Squadron focused primarily on speed and agility. Both factions have different character-based exosuits, each with their own unique strengths, weaknesses, and weapon modifications. Once you choose a side, it is permanent and there is no going back. A player battles other opponents in battle mode, where you fight anyone, or team battle, where teams of both factions fight each other. Winning battles contributes to your faction's weekly amount of winnings, as well as credits. Players can use credits in order to buy more exosuits. The only neutral character, Ben Tennyson guides each player no matter the team.<ref name="Guide"/>
Items
Project Exonaut has many items, the most common/variegated being weapons. The player receives three "Hellx grenades" along with the "Bulldog" weapon no matter what. They also can claim a "Marksman", "Wildfire", "Ballsta" or "Tridex" during the beginning of the game. Players can pick up "Heavy weapons" labeled as "Long shot", "Rocket pad", or "Hellx Cannon". These weapons can be found during play in stages. Boosts known as "Damage boost", "Sheild boost", "Speed boost" and "Stealth boost" can be used as power ups in stages.

There are two factions, the Atlas Brigade and the Banzai Squadron. Each side has 3 exosuits that are not character based and were made for beginning players. Each side also has unique and exclusive exosuits to choose from.
