Cardinal Truth is a small band out of Woodstock Ontario. With front man Tim Rudow the bands quick paced stlye has put them near the top of the up and coming Canadian music scene.
The only original members are Tim Rudow (lead guitar, back up vocals) and Aaron Sendeit (drummer). the bands first hit came in the summer of 2007 when there song "Sleeze" shattered the Woodstock under ground. Later on the band then was signed and is currently traveling across North America. The band has worked with such bands as Billy talent, Ozzy Osbourne and headlined the 2008 Fight for the cure in Toronto Ontario Benefit concert.
The band faced tragedy when in the fall of 2008 the bands promotion manager was killed in a freak accident during a show involving a pyrotechic stunt. Jack London then took the band over as his own.
"I wanted to get these kids out there. One is the next Jimi Hendrix for all we know we could have the next Rolling Stones here" quoted jack in an interview immediatly following the Fight for the cure concert. The first time Cardinal Truth was ever exposesd as more then a teenage band in bars was when former lead singer (Jeff arones) and Tim were arrested for public nudity, while in court Tim refused to speak and read lyrics as his opening statement. "I remember hearing about that" quoted Jack London.
The band has had a lot of issues with both drugs, violence, law and personal issues. "sometimes you just want to kill each other" quoted Aaron. "sometimes i just want to kill aaron. i have no problem with anyone else...just aaron" quoted Tim Rudow jokingly. The bands second album came in the winter of 2008 it was entitled "back for more"
"We chose that name because we didn't get the numbers we wanted the first time. With music all you can do is keep trying and try to strike oil" quoted Aaron sendeit. "I think we called it that just because it sounded kickass" added Tim. the new album included a much heavier feel then the previous recordings. The music packs a fast beat with thundering guitar and screaming vocals.
" i got sick of whiny punk music fast i wanted something thats gonna make your balls leave the ground in a show" spoke tim. The album released February 2nd 2008 (tim's 17th birthday).
