Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam

Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam is the long-awaited sequel to the hit 2008 Disney Channel Original Movie, Camp Rock, starring the Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato. Filming will start late summer 2009 and it is expected to be released summer of 2010.
Plot
Mitchie Torres, Shane Gray, and their friends return to Camp Rock and find some campers have moved to the rival camp across the lake, Camp Star. Camp Star's top performer then challenges Camp Rock to a competition to prove which camp is the best. Meanwhile Nate falls in love with the Camp Star owner's daughter.
Information
Gary Marsh, the president of Entertainment, Disney Channel World, confirmed that a script was almost complete for Camp Rock 2. According to The Hollywood Reporter, all the principal cast was expected to return, with a special appearance by Frankie Jonas. According to a blog in myspace, shooting will begin as soon as the Jonas Brothers complete their North America leg on their world tour and before their next leg in Europe and also when Demi Lovato finishes her tour.
Demi Lovato confirmed on her Twitter that she was in the studio to record songs for Camp Rock 2.
Including one called Never Let It Go. Production on the film titled Camp Rock 2:The Final Jam will begin in late summer 2009 and is scheduled to premiere in 2010.
According to popstaronline.com, Chloe Bridges is expected to become a new camper as Dana Alee. According to hollywoodreporter.com, the official plot is that Shane Gray and Mitchie Torres return to Camp Rock, only to discover that some of the students and instructors have abandoned it for nearby rival Camp Star.
Also joining the cast for is popular hip-hop artist Matthew “Mdot” Finley. Mdot will play the reigning hot-shot singer across the lake at Camp Star who challenges Camp Rock to a musical showdown.
This release will not be released to cinemas, it will be a Disney Channel Original Movie.

* Daniel Fathers as Brown Cessario is Shane's uncle and also runs Camp Rock. He also said he was the guitarist of a band called the "White Crows" and he toured with Aerosmith.
