Burt Goldman

Burt Goldman (born September 28, 1927, in Brooklyn, New York) is an American writer, artist and photographer. He is an author of several personal development books and audio courses.

Goldman is best known for the creation of Quantum Jumping — a personal development program based on the Multiverse theory. It assumes that each person has an infinite number of variations of their lives which exist in parallel universes and using the power of the mind he can "tap into" the resources of these parallel existences to get advice or energy from his twin self.

His book The Silva Mind Control Method of Mental Dynamics published by Pocket Books, co-written with the founder of the Silva Method José Silva has been translated into more than 10 languages.
Biography
Goldman was born in Brooklyn, New York as the son of Harry Goldman, salesman, and his wife Sadie, housewife. He grew up in East Los Angeles and attended high school at Wilson and Fairfax. He did not attend university due to being drafted into the U.S. Army.
Goldman’s interest in psychology began in 1946, after World War II ended, when he was stationed as an US Army sergeant at Seoul, Korea. There, he met a local inhabitant who used healing techniques to relieve Goldman of a headache. After being discharged, Goldman began to study hypnotism.
Goldman began painting at the age of 78.
Personal development
In 1980, Goldman met José Silva, and in 1989 they co-wrote the book The Silva Mind Control Method of Mental Dynamics. After that, Goldman began to give seminars and workshops on the techniques described in the book. In 2003, he retired from the consulting business, but continued writing.

In addition to The Silva Mind Control Method of Mental Dynamics, Goldman has written two books on personal development aspects: The Power of Self Mind Control (2003) and How to Better Your Life with Mind Control (1980). He has also written a walkthrough on the Silva method together with Ove Sehested titled Better and Better (1979).

After retiring, Goldman has begun publishing self-help development courses as personal audiobooks published by Mindvalley. His most recent audiobooks, Quantum Jumping (2011) and The American Monk (2011) deal with the concept of "quantum jumping", which he proposes is a method of " into these alternate universes to meet and learn from these alternate versions of yourself".
