Bruce Bogtrotter is a fictional character from the novel Matilda. He is described as "fat". Punishment Miss Trunchbull once accused Bruce Bogtrotter of eating a slice of her favourite cake. So, as punishment, she makes him eat all the cake. Strangely, he managed to keep it all down, which influenced everyone to start cheering him, which then causes Miss Trunchbull to say: "SILENCE! As punishment for this disturbance, you shall all stay for 4 hours after school and copy the dictionary! Anyone who objects gets thrown in The Chokey!" Description He is described as "an eleven year old boy who was decidedly large and round" at the point when Miss Trunchbull falsely accuses him of eating one tiny slice of "my private chocolate cake". |
