Bridge tag

Bridge Tag is a game that is played with at least 2 people, one person being "it" the other is trying to avoid being "it". the game originates from the chilhood game of tag but it is played in water and anywhere inside the bounderies that you may climb. The first bridge tag game was played during the summer of 2006 by a group of teenagers along the annisquam foot bridge in lobster cove. Other versions of the game have been played on the Magnolia Pier located in west Gloucester, Massachusetts.
Rules
When a person becomes "it" they must first tag a designated area somewhere in the confines of the playing area. Usually a metal pole at the end of the bridge. The game at this point begins. To determine the tagger every player must tag the designated area, the last to do so is the tagger. If there is a dock that passes down off the playing area the person that is "it" while walking down must walk on the railing until all players have jumped off the dock (when going up this rule does not apply). There are no time outs unless there is a severe injury in which the person can no longer play.
