Brian L. Tan is an independent film producer and director based in Los Angeles, California. He is also the former Internal Vice President of ASUCR (Student Government) at the University of California, Riverside, and Finance Committee Chairperson of the Undergraduate Students Association Council (USAC) at UCLA. In 2006, Tan founded FPS Productions, an action-oriented film company with branches in Los Angeles, Riverside, San Bernardino, Singapore, and Australia. To date, the company has produced several award-winning low budget, high production value films including Slick, Incrimination, and Gig, the latter of which was screened at Paramount Pictures as a finalist of Campus MovieFest. Though he has since worked at Dreamworks Animation, he is currently employed at Digital Domain working on Tron: Legacy and the upcoming 2012 film, Jack the Giant Killer.
