Breast reduction drugs

Breast reduction drugs have been successfully used as an alternative to breast reduction surgery.
Breast reduction supplements also exist, but lack rigorous testing. There is no proof that they do not work, and there is also inadequate evidence that they do work.
Professional medical field use
Tamoxifen, bromocryptine, testosterone, dydrogesterone, hydrocortisone, diuretics and medroxy progesterone acetate are common breast reduction drugs. Bromocryptine has been used successfully to treat gestational macromastia preventing the need for reduction surgery.
Raloxifene and tamoxifen are selective estrogen receptor modulators used to treat breast cancer, and they have successfully reduced breast volume and density in women.
Danazol is another drug that has successfully reduced breast size, when no medical condition was present.
Tamoxifen has has some success in the treatment of cancer.
Breast reduction supplements
Breast reduction supplements exist as dietary supplements. There are no peer-reviewed published clinical trials on the efficacy of these supplements.
