Bollarum Golf Course or Army Golf Club or Bison Golf Course is one of the oldest and best Golf courses in the nation located in Hyderabad, India. It is at Bollarum suburb, hence the name. This is the only 18 hole golf course in the entire city of Hyderabad. This is maintained by the Indian army and is not open to general public. You either have to be defence personnel or affiliated with the Secunderabad club. It is spread over 2000 acres, with lush green environs amidst the military base. History This Golf club started during the period of the Nizams. And this region was under Secunderabad club when the Indian army took over in 1983 after expiry of the lease period with the government. |
