Bodyspace.net is a Portuguese website dedicated to music journalism, that has existed since 2002. It covers mostly indie and alternative music, but occasionally makes reference to other forms of popular music such as jazz and electronica. It has achieved cult-like status in Portugal and is known in other portuguese-speaking countries such as Brazil. It is, together with those of magazines such as Blitz, one of the most visited websites in the Portuguese music scene and has garnered critical acclaim for its laid-back, sometimes humorous reviews and articles. It also features interviews with many known acts, both Portuguese and foreign, and it has its own personal video section which hosts private performances of artists such as Scout Niblett and Ariel Pink. None of its staff is paid. Its influence is such that it has been invited to act as media partner of many cult festivals, such as Milhões de Festa. Their end-of-year lists are quite famous in both digital and written press and in the Portuguese music community.
