The Blue Goose Gym is a basketball gymnasium in Pikeville, Kentucky. It serves as the home for Pikeville Little League, AAU, and Pikeville Cheerleaders . The gym is owned by Pikeville City Schools. The Blue Goose has enjoyed a long and storied existence pertaining to its colorful history of cheerleading. The gym is 8,662 square feet . The derivation of its peculiar moniker is enigmatic, but most insiders believe it was named for the oft meloncholy fowl that was regularly spotted playing pickup games on the adjacent outdoor court.
