Bloody Lucifer

Bloody Lucifer is a graphic novel writen in the early 1800s by Edward Truffle. This book was created to strech the fabric of the Christian faith's Lucifer into "a beast that walks among man, as man." This refers to the theme of revelation, relating to the anti-christ, but in the book it was not the Antichrist, but Satan himself. The main character is Jacob, a priest about the age of twenty nine living in England. The setting was some time in the Middle Ages.

The Beginning

Jacob is a young, devout priest who feels as if he is missing out on something in life. One day in a confessional, a strange man walks in, repeating the words "I looked into his eyes and found nothing." Jacob, startled, tries to calm the man down. However, the man ran out onto a balcony and threw himself over the edge.Jacob called the guards to take the body away. Jacob found a note that fell out of his pocket in the confessional signed Lucifer in blood. Jacob was disturbed by this and took this to a cardinal by the name of Martian Higgs. "This is a joke?" replied Martain as he passed the note back to Jacob. "What why would I do such a thing!" exclaimed Jacob some what angry. "I have no time I must attend prayer!" answered Martain. Jacob felt that no one would listen so he forgot about it. A couple days later he found himself in a long hallway near the city hall. A figure stood in the passage way repeating "Blowdy". (Truffel used the word "Blowdy?" most people believe he ment bloody, however he tried to describe why but was unclear). Jacob replied "Who repeats to me words of blood!" exclaimed Jacob. "Not son of nor follower of but is thee!" yelled the figure. "Who is thee"! screamed Jacob scared. "Lucifer king of all that is wrong that shatters the light" moaned Lucifer. Then day turned to night and there was no light. Then as quickly as it came light shined through once more and the beast was gone.

Sights and visions

After the first in counter with Lucifer Jacob was quite shattered mentally. He still hung on by a shred however was quite shaken by this event. He went to Martian again however instead of telling him it was non-sense he listened. "I have to tell you something Jacob, I've seen him too!" replied Martain. "What could this be the bible has not mentioned this!" exclaimed Jacob. "The devil takes many shapes and forms and tries to change what we think" added Martian shaking slightly. "Is the devil changing revelation it's self" gasped Jacob. "One can't be sure when one deals with the devil" answered Martian. They soon parted for the night and went to bed. The book later went on describing a terrible graphic scene of a nightmare Jacob had later that night. "Demon's were dancing in a flaming pit devouring the souls of the wicked, blood pouring from the anus's of flesh. Draining into the a hole, quickly dripping upon the evil ones head as he sit on his thrown of spikes. When Jacob woke up that morning he was terrified, tormented by the dreams he had been threw. Visions flashed in his head of sights witch he could not dream to comprehend. He then looked up in the mirror and saw the reflection of the evil one (Lucifer) as he lie screaming. He stood up and ran out side screaming for Martian. When he finally reached him, he told him what happened and said he would like to talk more about yesterday. Martian replied "What are you talking about you speak of non-sense!". Jacob stand puzzled not knowing what to say as Martain walk away. Out of the corner of his eyes he saw Martian in the same clothes he was wearing yesterday. He thinks to himself "What? didn't you just walk away!". Then Martain laughed, yet Jacob knew that was not his laugh! "Lucifer!" yelled Jacob! "You catch on pretty quick!" laughed Lucifer. "Stay back beast!" yelled Jacob holding out his cross. "There's more to come boy!" roared Lucifer has he spread his wings and flew out the window shattering the glass. Jacob was hit by a glass shard and knocked out cold. He woke up in a bed. "Did you see him did you!" yelled Jacob. "What are you saying!" yelled the nurse. "Did you see him!" screamed Jacob. The nurse told him what happened and blamed it on him. They said he must have went psycho and broke the window. "I tell you no lie!" exclaimed Jacob. They did not know what to think so the sent him to his cell. (A cell is a priest's room). Jacob spent days in his room righting on the wall "Bloody Lucifer"!

Ending

In the ending of the book, Jacob confronts Lucifer one last time on the balcony over looking the market. "Now we meet in the final layer of Hell!" screamed Lucifer. "Christ will defeat you evil one!" yelled Jacob. "Maybe, but are you christ! I don't think so, now I give you Blowdy!" moaned Lucifer! "Lucifer let forth a hellish moan and raised his hands as his eyes rolled back into his head! Flames raised higher and higher all around Jacob! Lucifer removed his clothes leaving his naked body! "Feast your eyes on god boy!" srceamed Lucifer. Jacob closed his eyes in fear and took out his cross. Lucifer came closer, but then Jacob charged at Lucifer. Lucifer screamed as Jacob picked him off the ground, the leapt off the balcony and fell to the ground, far below. People flooded into the street to only find Jacob and the words Lucifer drawn in blood.
