Bloodsplattered Joe is a B-Movie from the year 1994; there are a large number of sequels to the film two of which are yet to be released. Synopsis A young War hero nicknamed Joe is discovered in the battle field after a war battle he is drenched in blood and mumbling incoherently. He is taken home to his mother who lives in a small town in Wisconsin. He is taken to therapy but can't be cured and eventually locked up. He later escapes and begins his murderous rampage. Joe starts by attacking a guard and stealing his clothes, he then goes and kills his therapist Dr. Cathy Lee and ends his murderous rampage with his own mother. In the final film we find out the identity of Joe and his murderous rampage ends. He targets Officer John Peters as he comes closer to solving the case, killing his sister, and then girlfriend Claire Smorke. Joe's trademark outfits are overalls or a military uniform, a ski mask, and his weapon is nearly always an axe or hunting knife. Unlike common slasher films Joe does not come back if he dies he is completely human. In the third film we learn that Joe has some compassion he spared two elderly women and actually apologized to Officer John's sister Allison right before killing her. In the final film Joe's identity is revealed his name was Steve Patterson who was adopted by his mother who's overly religious ways and abuse caused him to go insane.
