Black Voices is a community category for HuffPost (formerly known as The Huffington Post until 2017) launched by Sheila C. Johnson and Arianna Huffington covering (but not limited to) entertainment, political, social justice, and cultural news. Black Voices was introduced on August 4, 2011 through a HuffPost article by Sheila C. Johnson, expressing its meaning and contribution to the community.
