Bishop Bacani

Bishop Teodoro Bacani, Jr. is a Filipino Roman Catholic Bishop born in Manila on January 16, 1940. He served as Bishop Emeritus of Novaliches from December 7, 2002 until his resignation in November 25, 2003.
On November 2003, Pope John Paul II has accepted the resignation of Bishop Bacani, who was accused of sexual harassment by his personal secretary for allegedly embracing her from behind and touching sensitive parts of her body while they were inside his office in April of the same year. Bacani denied the accusations but admitted in a statement making "inappropriate expression of affection."
Bishop Bacani also made an impact on May 22, 2011 by becoming a trending topic on Twitter worldwide, a consequence of many online Filipinos ridiculing what many thought was an abrasive debating style.
Filipino viewers took to Twitter minutes after hearing his arguments against the proposed Reproductive Health Bill in the Philippines on GMA News TV special RH Bill: The Grand Debate.
