BInghamton College Democrats

The Binghamton College Democrats began in 1994 after the reformation of the College Democrats of America program. They have served as the liberal and Democratic group on the Binghamton University campus since then.
History
In 1992, Vice President Al Gore re instituted the College Democrats of America program. At Binghamton University the program was started immediately. By 2004, the BU college Democrats had become a major force on campus. Energized by the campaign, they mobilized one of the largest voter registration and Get out the vote drives in the schools history.
