As the owner of the Zone Studios in Atlanta, GA, this writer/producer/mixer extraordinare quietly but consistently engineered and mixed many of the radio singles and club tracks that helped put Atlanta at the top of the Urban music market. Using a slow burn approach, coupled with his skills behind the board and his vast knowledge of other genres, Billy has quickly become recognized as a pioneer in the industry. Most recently Hume has been thrust into the spotlight with his contributions to the guitar-driven tracks "Party Like a Rockstar" (Shop Boyz) and "Rock On" (Montana), opening the door to his production of several upcoming genre-busting projects in 2007 that combine live Rock instrumentation with raw Urban beats.
