BibleTime is an open source Study Bible software that uses The Sword Project. It was made for Linux and KDE. Some of the characteristics include: * Text Search * Tooltips * Different Bible translations * Commentaries * Dictionaries Also, some powerful options that this program has are: * Unicode text render support for various languages with left or right align. * Advanced search for words inside Bible and display count of results for each Bible chapter graphically. * Possibility of reading in parallel two or more translations of the Bible and also print them. * support (An advanced Greek and Hebrew word dictionary used in parallel with KJV). Using Sword library makes it easy for BibleTime's users to use a large number of translations, commentaries and dictionaries found on CrossWire Bible Society. |
