William Evans (Bevans) Branham (born October 8, 1950) is an American businessman who has worked in the advertising agency business, restaurant and club industry, and in venture capital, helping fund the salvage expedition for the sunken treasure ship San Jose, which was sunk during Wager's Action. Personal life Branham was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and grew up there and in Beverly Hills, CA. He then went on to graduate from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 1973. In the same year, he married Lorie Branham. Their children are Lindsay Branham, an investigative journalist and documentary filmmaker, and Chaz Branham, an entrepreneurial coach/trainer, athlete and strategic advisor. Career Branham and his wife have provided marketing, advertising, public relations, and promotion services for My Friends Restaurant and Bar in Evergreen, Colorado, Michael’s in Santa Monica, California, Gordon’s in Aspen, Colorado, and The Rattlesnake Club in Denver, Colorado. The Rattlesnake Club, which was originally named "Bevans", later sold for over $4 million when Branham was 37 years old.
