Beth Rosenberg is an editor, writer and journalist in Monterey, California. Before moving to California, Rosenberg lived in Boston and wrote for The Boston Globe and Boston Magazine. Her novel was one of the first novels to be published on the web. The novel, published in 1996, is loosely based on Sandstorm Enterprises, the company that Rosenberg and husband / computer security expert Simson Garfinkel founded in 1998.
