The Benwick Bugle is a bimonthly community news magazine for the village of Benwick, Cambridgeshire. The magazine is delivered free to all homes in the village and available digitally. History The Benwick Bugle was launched in September 2006 by Jane Levicki as a quarterly publication. The magazine was introduced as a means of publicising local information, with there having been no community news publication since the parish newsletters of the Victorian era. In December 2007 it was announced the Bugle would become a bimonthly magazine due to its popularity. in April 2011 the magazine was passed to a new editor, Adam Keppel-Garner who ran the magazine for five years before he too passed the pen to new editor Susanne Nichols in January 2016. Content The Bugle is primarily a community news magazine, providing news on different community organisations submitted by representatives. It has featured original content on the history of the village and reports on the activities of Benwick Parish Council. The magazine used to host a number of regular columns such as on gardening and cookery.
