Bengt Oelmann

Bengt Oelmann (born 1964, in Sundsvall, Sweden) is a professor of Electronics System Design at Mid Sweden University in Sundsvall. Oelmann is a Doctor of Science in Electronics from the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) and has previously worked for Ericsson and Nordic VLSI (currently Nordic Semiconductor).
He has carried out research in low power design of digital VLSI circuits by studying asynchronous circuits, dynamic power management and subthreshold floating-gate circuits. He has also done research in energy efficient hardware decoder architectures for entropy coding.
His current research is mainly focused on wireless sensor systems for industrial use and environmental monitoring.
