Ben Samuelson

Ben Wylie Samuelson (born 7 April 1972) was in charge of the PR and marketing for British sports car manufacturer TVR from 1993 until 2005, and is the brother of the British television actress Emma Samms.
TVR
Samuelson started working for the Blackpool-based company in 1993 when he was 21, after leaving his degree in history and history of art at the University of Edinburgh without graduating.
Samuelson worked at the company during what is regarded as its glory years. Under the assertive eye of the late Peter Wheeler, Samuelson saw the company produce cars with spectacular looks and phenomenal performance, such as the Cerbera, Tuscan Speed 6, Tamora and Sagaris.
He was briefly the managing director after Russian businessman Nikolai Smolenski bought the company in 2004
Racing
During his time at TVR, Samuelson raced in the TVR Tuscan Challenge in car number 58 and regularly attained podium finishes.
He also raced with Wheeler in an Aston Martin DB4 and latterly a TVR 5000M.
Family history
Samuelson comes from a family heavily involved in the British film industry. He is the grandson of GB Samuelson - a pioneer of early British cinema - and the nephew of the first British Film Commissioner Sir Sydney Samuelson (George's son). Also, Samuelson is the brother of British actress and former Dynasty star Emma Samms.
Samuelson is married to Kate Cranshaw, and has a young family.
Present
In 2005 Samuelson left TVR, shortly after Smolenski bought the company.
In January 2006 Samuelson established his PR, marketing and events management company, Samuelson Wylie Associates. By summer 2006, Samuelson had already established his company as one used by luxury and exclusive brands. Samuelson's family is heavily involved in his current business venture, Samuleson Wylie PR. His sister, Emma Samms, acts as a promoter while his brother-in-law, Martin Cranshaw, is Head of Events.
