Beer rebates are a recent phenomenon regarding rebates. These mostly occur in the states of AL, AR, HI, KY, MO, MN, NC, UT and WV. The rebates are only valid for US residents of legal drinking age, but no beer purchase needs to occur. They range from buying pizza, frozen food, salty snacks or other items in a certain dollar amount to getting back $ 15 if you spend $ 100. The consumer sends the rebate form and receipt from purchase, and the particular beer company in turn sends a check; ranging from $ 3 to as high as $ 20 in some cases. This phenomenon is said to be thriving due to recession times.
