Be art

Be art is a postmodern art movement founded by the artist Julien Friedler, which is influenced by post-structuralism. It states art for and by the masses using on a minimal support. The artwork generated by Be art aims at being neither provocative nor militant in nature while having a universal character by comparing worlds far removed from each other. Be art reflects the rage or madness of a globalized world.
Description
Be art states human responsibility towards the future of our planet. Disparity between rich and poor is becoming increasingly greater and that the current massive population growth, causing proportionate pressure on the environment, is upsetting the ecological balance of our planet in line to other artists' endeavors such as photographer Yann Arthus-Bertrand with his foundation. For Be art artists, new values and their corresponding icons are necessary to protect humanity against negative aspects of globalization.
The core questioning of Be art is of moral nature: what does our world need to survive and what can be the contribution as individuals. In echo with the Superflat movement founded by Takashi Murakami, Be art analyses the boundaries between rich and poor, between fine art and folk art and between subjectivity and objectivity.
