Battleaxe Records is an independent music label from Vancouver, Canada created by Swollen Members member Mad Child out of a desire of the band to release their own material. It has grown to 10 other hip hop artists including Sweatshop Union, Freestyle, Moka Only, Abstract Rude, DJ Drez, Son Doobie, Buc Fifty, Shabazz the Disciple and Rob The Viking. Battleaxe Records has also recently recruited P.E.A.C.E., a veteran from the legendary Freestyle Fellowship.
Over the last 2 years they have been largely inactive mostly due to Swollen Members restructuring themselves. The site has not been updated in nearly two years.
