Barzudi

Barzudi(Barzud Barzudi) is a local leader who played key role in reestablishment of the peace and mutual consent between opposition the government and radical movements in Tajikistan in 1992-1997.
His authority and his activities made it possible for the concessive government to apply the policies of improvements on mutual agreements on local levels after the peace agreement in 1997.
Barzidi has organized and lead the social movement of peace and sustainable growth, activities of which led to disarmament of radical movements and conduction of roundtables between the government and opposition in early 2000s.
Nowadays Barzudi is the local leader in Gorno Badakhshan, who organizes and leads the dialogue between the government and civil society. He has developed and promoted the strategy of sustainable growth of mountainous regions of Tajikistan.
He is voluntarily working for several projects as a consultant for improving the economical situation and strengthening the civil society in mountainous regions of Central Asia.
