Barbara Umuhoza

Barbara Umuhoza is a Rwandan pastor, meeting emcee and the owner of Eclat Communications, a company which gives services in translation, content production and social media usage. Umuhoza is a member of the Rwanda Leaders Fellowship which hosts programs to provide mentoring for young people in Rwanda. She hosted the 2018 Rwandan Christian Film Festival and spoke at the graduation of the 2019 class from the Institute for Economic Empowerment of Women (IEEW). She moderated the Alliance for Financial Inclusion's 2019 Global Policy Forum. In 2020, she participated in the Peace Through Business leadership summit run by the Institute for Economic Empowerment of Women where she shared her perspective on her pastoral mission and how it has been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Umehoza shares her ideas through podcasts which are hosted on IHeartRadio. Umehoza also hosts the Barbara Show on YouTube with video interviews in Kinyarwanda and occasional sections in English.
She is co-founder of Lucia's Scented Candles, a company which focuses on scented candles made in Rwanda and distributed locally within the country.
