Barbara Riethe

Barbara Riethe is an actress and a singer. She is also known for her Brazilian literature. She was born on October 27, 1991 and raised in São Leopoldo, located in the south of Brazil. When she was sixteen years old she published her first book titled "Pupila".
She started into theatre when she moved to Londrina, getting in the Teatro Cemear Marista (Cemear Marista Theatre). On the third year she was invited to write the final play. Despite many objections about her age (she was only 12) the play MILTASIA was a success. After that she continued writing, directing and acting her plays through other companies including plays written and played in English, like "The Seven Women's Secret".
As a singer, Barbara sang in the 26º and 27º Festival de Música de Londrina (an annual music festival in Londrina, Brazil). She was 15 and played the British operetta Trial by Jury, from Arthur Sullivan and the opera King Arthur, from Henry Purcell.
She has joined the Academy of Writing, Science and Arts of Londrina (Academia de Letras, Ciencias e Artes de Londrina) in 2007 as a social cultural contributor, after being accepted as a student of the Londrina Municipal Theatre (FUNCART).
Today she lives at São Paulo and studies in USP (CAC-ECA-USP). and she continues to perform plays. She writes on her blog about the classes, projects and plays.
