Banhuayklang School

History

::Banhuayklang School was established by order 17 of Pipoon district and opened on 16 May 1973 by the Ministry of Education.The previous name of Banhuayklang School was "Wat Huayklang School" which was located and conducted in the temple.Because it was located in the temple area and the monks taught only the boys,so the girls couldn't study and couldn't come to the school.After two years (approx.1970 - 1972),the communities of the village had a meeting to determine and change the original school to a school for all children.Now,there are six grades from 1 to 6 and 10 subjects:Thai language,Mathematics,Sciences,Socialitics,Physical Education,Arts,English,History,Technology and Career.

::Banhuayklang School is a government primary school located on 243 Kathun Commune in Pipoon District,Nakhon Si Thammarat,Thailand.Tel:075-450047.
The border around the school can be divided into 4 directions.The first direction the North side has a border adjoining with the Huayklang Pracharam temple (Wat Huayklang).
The South and East borders adjoin the Klong Kathun reservoir of the Royal Irrigation Department of Thailand (Ang Keb Num Klong Kathun).The West border with Chawang District and Wiang-Sra District in Surat Thani Province.

Activities
Children's day
::Banhuayklang School has Children's Day Festival every years on the second Saturday of January.There are three parts in the festival.The first is giving scholarships to selected children from the administration,teachers,parents,etc.
The second is playing games and giving awards,for example,snacks,towels,lamps,candies,dolls,etc.The culmination of the festival is a show by the students to demonstrate the power or spirit of the students.There are many shows from them,for example,dancing,singing,and performing a ballet,which students rehearse for more than two months.
