Bahujan cinema

Bahujanwood or Bahujan cinema is a film movement in Indian cinema that is based on Bahujan ideology that encourages films on stories of marginalized sections of Indian society by their own filmmakers and actors. Bahujanwood was born in retaliation to allegedly Caste biased and brahminical Indian cinema that shy aways from telling stories of Dalits (Scheduled castes), Adivasis (Scheduled tribes) and OBCs. Dalits have been developing and asserting their own space in cinema after the rise of Bahujan conscience. Directors *Pa.
