Notable incidents
In March 2012, the show solved a 20 year old mystery surrounding who'd remixed the Michael Jackson track Smooth Criminal in 1994. Originally annotated as being remixed by the Rhythm Brothers , the common misconception was that it was a pseudonym for the Brothers In Rhythm due to the similarities in the remix and production style. However, Dave Seaman indicated that it was not by the Brothers In Rhythm when he was interviewed on the show . Simon Palmer noted this on comments under the track on YouTube video for Michael Jackson's 'Smooth Criminal' (Remix) , which prompted the actual remixer to identify himself. Danny Taurus the DJ and music producer originally from Stoke-on-Trent and now living in Los Angeles said: "after nearly 20 years I'm finally owning up to doing these remixes. I did indeed do this in the style of Brothers In Rhythm but in stark contrast to their big-budget remixes this was done in a bedroom in Stoke-on-Trent :) I'm currently talking to Discogs to get this credited to my profile, I did so many remixes under so many aliases it's hard to keep track!".
