Babilon was formed in 1986 in Priština, Kosovo, by: Uran Bajrami - Bass Guitar (1968 - 1989), Besim Hajdini - Lead Guitar , B.B. Poqi - Vocals, and Mentor Haziri - Drums. Their hits include: *Edhe nje nate si kjo, Lyrics: U. Bajrami Music: B. Hajdini (Recorded in 1987 - RTP Recording Studios), *Iluzioni, Lyrics: U. Bajrami Music: B. Hajdini (Recorded in 1988 - RTP Recording Studios), *Diku prane shtepise sime Lyrics: U. Bajrami Music: B. Hajdini (Recorded in 1989 - RTP Recording Studios). This song was dedicated to Uran Bajrami. After the tragic car accident which led to U. Bajrami's death in 1989, the band members went their separate ways. B. Hajdini emigrated to the UK and formed ODA with D. Lipa, L. Krasniqi and D. Rrahmani. They released their first album called "Rruge e Mbare" in 1995. They played various gigs in London, mainly for the Kosovo Albanian community, while B.B. Poqi went on to have a solo career and established himself as one of the most successful rock artists in Kosovo. He has released three albums to date, and is one of the most sought-after live performers in Kosovo.
