Baanah (ba'-a-na ba'anah) is the name of two men in the Bible. # Baanah, son of Rimmon # Baanah the Netophathite *Meaning: "son of affliction" Baanah — son of Rimmon Baanah, one of the two sons of Rimmon the Beerothite, was a captain in army. He, along with his brother Rechab, assassinated Saul's son Ishbosheth, while he was asleep in bed. They beheaded him and brought his head to David.
