Baalu Balakumar

Baalu Balakumar was a Journalist in Deepam TV, best known as Media Broadcaster Journalist in United Arab Emirates. During his day he was doing a Sri lankan Sinhala TV channel that with verity of programs which recorded in United Arab Emirates in the name of Pavana TV. After Deepam TV He joined in Varnam TV as Broadcast Maganager on October 15, 2011 - present and brought the channel to the entire the United Arab Emirates through Etisalat E-vision network with new IP Technology. The Gulf Varnam TV is broadcasting on E vision 0766. He is the first person in United Arab Emirates telecast the a TV channel used by a new technology. All the contents of programs are telecast from Sri Lanka to United Arab Emirates. He is well known among all the Sri Lankan as Media personality.
Early life
Baalu Balakumar was born in Talawakelle, Hatton, Sri Lanka on 04 September, 1969 and went on to attend Highland Central College, where he was class monitor. His father name is Shanmugam and mother Parvathy. He was a prefect in the class in his age of 13th to 19th, team leader. sports man and participated in several cultural programs and won medal and certificates.
Career
He dropped out of college after A/L and worked as Marketing Executive in a private company in Sri Lanka. During the periods he wrote articles in Virakesari and Thinakaran news paper. Participated in various Radio program in SLBC. He visit to Dubai in the year of 2003 to find a job and joined in a private firm. Fortunately he got a chance to join in Tamil Media and joined Deepam TV. Organized many programs with Indian and Sri lankan Community who lives in United Arab Emirates. He started his own Tamil Magazine called Sikaram Tamil Magazine.
