Azerbaijan–Fiji relations

Bilateral relations exist between the Republic of Azerbaijan and Fiji in political, socio-economic, cultural and other spheres. Neither country has a resident ambassador.
Diplomatic relations
On March 18, 2010, the government of Azerbaijan and the government of Fiji signed a joint communique on the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
The diplomatic representation of Azerbaijan in Fiji is located in Canberra.
High-level visits
On September 22, 2011, within the framework of the 66th session of The United Nations General Assembly, Azerbaijani foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov met with Fijian foreign Minister Inoke Kubuabola.
On February 21-23, 2018, Anar Alekperov, assistant to the first Vice President of Azerbaijan, Executive Director of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, paid a working visit to Fiji.
