Autumn War

Autumn War is an upcoming novel by Jack Matthew Thompson, which is set to be released in 2011. It gets it's name from a Flash game of the same name.
Synopsis
The chapter 1 preview the book starts off on "Crimson Hill" where a group of soldiers is about be attacked by an unknown enemy, later revealed to be zombies. As they are waiting for the enemy at the bottom of the hill, more come out through a nearby cellar. While the soldiers are distracted by these new arrivals, the rest of the zombies reach the hill. They retreat to their base, where the protagonist, known only as "Fitzy," becomes part of some scientific tests on a captive zombie dubbed "Psubarius." In the end of the preview, "Psubarius" escapes.
In the second chapter preview the team fight about what to do about "Psubarius"'s escape, They conclude that he will head back home to "Oakfield Manor", In which Hewitt had previously caught "Psubarius", At the cost of his previous teams lives, And he freaks out, They then go to the manor on the way encountering piles of bodies, Proving that "Psubarius" has hidden there, The preview ends with them spliting up in Oakfield Manor.
