AudioSoft is based in Cirencester (UK), with representatives in the USA and the Middle East and agents across the world. AudioSoft's products are backed up by an experienced project management team and 24x7x365 day support. AudioSoft joined Ultra Electronics in August 2008. Chris Brill was Managing Director until 2010, when the post was taken over by Kevin Hurst. Kevin left to join Ultra PALS in April 2012 with Andy Sullivan taking over leadership of the business.
2010 RELEASE - AudioSoft has just introduced a new digital Interview Recorder to its range. The AudioPC-IR has simple two button operation and can be desk or wall mounted. Case specific information is entered via an integral touch screen. The interview is digitally recorded simultaneously to three DVDs, a master and two copies, all of which are encrypted for secure sharing of interviews. No Interview data is retained within the recorder.
1 March 2013 UPDATE - AudioSoft has evolved into Network Analytics. Ultra Electronics Network Analytics builds upon the AudioSoft heritage with a focus on four main market sectors: Aerospace & Defence, Law Enforcement, Court Recording & Transcriptions and Cyber Security.
History
AudioSoft was originally formed in 1993 as a software house with initial contracts to supply voice communication network recording capabilities to the Ministry of Defence (UK). AudioSoft now has more than fifteen years of experience of recording data which encompasses over 50,000 recording channels and in excess of 1 billion recording hours in over 30 countries.
AudioSoft's success and growth was recognised in 2000 when they won the Deloitte and Touche Fast 50 award, and in 2004 the prestigious Sunday Times sponsored Tech Track 100 award. They were placed in the Deloitte and Touche Fast 500 - Europe Middle East and Asia in 2005.
On 1 March 2013, AudioSoft changed trading name to Ultra Electronics Networks Analytics. This change was made to reflect their evolution away from audio to "all data" recording.
Customers
Contracts that AudioSoft have been awarded include providing for and supporting Royal Air Force bases worldwide, an Air Traffic Control solution for Eurocontrol and for 26 airports in Australia for AirServices Australia, together with a full digital update of the Scottish Court Service court room recording systems.
Ultra Electronics AudioSoft has recently secured a competitive contract in the Republic of Ireland (ROI) to supply recorders to the Irish Aviation Authority (IAA), which provides air navigation services in Irish controlled airspace. The IAA selected Ultra to provide its North Atlantic Communications Service (known as Shannon Aeradio) with an AudioSoft AudioPC Digital Recording and Replay System based on COTS (commercial of the shelf) equipment in a fully redundant configuration. The System provides 160 channel dual redundant recording capability with an online recording range in excess of 50 days for instant retrieval and replay for investigative purposes.
