Asia-Pacific Governance Institute

The Asia Pacific Governance Institute provides a forum for sharing ideas, concepts, training materials and results of research and practice in Asia-Pacific public management, and to stimulate critical thinking about alternative approaches to problem solving and decision making in the public sector. The Institute draws on the membership of the International Public Management Network in carrying out its work. The Institute's core staff get advice from an Advisory Board. Core staff include Clay G Wescott, Director, and Lawrence R. Jones, Scholar in Residence. The Board of Advisors includes Prof. Michael Barzelay, London School of Economics, Prof. Bidhya Bowornwathana, Chulalongkorn University, Prof. Alex Brilliantes, University of the Philippines Diliman, Prof. Anthony B L Cheung City University of Hong Kong, Prof. Jon Quah National University of Singapore (retired), and Prof. Kuno Schedler, University of St. Gallen. Partial funding is from US government contracts
