PDF Print E-mail
Asa Seeley was arrested at the West Baltimore MARC station en route to Washington D.C. while carrying a rife. On Wednesday, November 19, 2008, Seeley hailed an unlicensed cab, asking for transportation to the White House. After the cabbie noticed a rifle in Seeley's possession, he refused to take him to Washington, and instead dropped him off at the West Baltimore rail station and alerted police. Passengers on the train platform also become suspicious of Seeley and phoned police. As police gave chase, Seeley jumped off the platform, broke his ankle, and was transported to Shock Trauma. He was charged by the state of Maryland for his actions, but is currently not facing any federal charges.
