Arun Kumar Agnihotri

 Dr. Arun Kumar Agnihotri is a Publisher and Editor in chief of Internet Journal of Medical Update. He established this international journal in the year 2006. Dr. Agnihotri was born in the year 1970 in Etawah (Uttar Pradesh), India. He passed his graduation in medicine (MBBS) in 1994 and postgraduation (MD) in the subject of Forensic Medicine and Toxicology in 1996 from India. In 2000, he was awarded the ‘Postgraduate Certificate of Torture Medicine’ and designated as ‘Torture Counselor’. After post-graduation, he joined All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, as a Senior Resident in 1999 and spent three years there.
Dr. Agnihotri joined SSR Medical College, Mauritius as a faculty member in 2002 and currently working as Associate Professor in the Department of Forensic Medicine and Toxicology. Since 1999, he has been actively engaged in research and published more than 50 scientific papers in different international and national peer review journals to his credit. He also helped in writing a Booklet on “Scene Investigation” as Associate Editor. He is member of the several professional organizations some of which are World Association of Medical Editors (WAME), The International Association of Forensic Toxicologists (TIAFT), African Union of Risk Management in Preventive Medicine (AURMPM), Indian Medical Association (IMA), Indian Congress of Forensic Medicine and Toxicology (ICFMT) and Indian Academy of Forensic Medicine (IAFM).1
