Arun Behll

Arun Behll (born 7th december 1973) is an Indian film actor and script writer.
Early Life
Behll was born in the family of Ranvir Singh Behl (ex-army man) and Jai Devi Behl in district Mandi, Himachal Pradesh. He is youngest of three children. His elder sister Mrs. Sushma Kapoor is a school teacher in district Kullu and elder brother Kailash Behl is a lawyer in district Mandi. Behll was very shy and simple guy in his young age but besides that he was very good in sports. In his school days he was the core member of Mandi district football team. He played several state football tournament as well as represented his state Himachal Pradesh in national level in sub junior national championship which was held in West Bengal. He was a core member of football and athletics team of Vallabh Govt. collage district Mandi. He was the Gold medalist of Himachal Pradesh University in 400 meter race and Silver Medalist in 800 meter and 1500 meter race in inter university championship. Behll was initially choose his career as a soccer player and wants to play for India but in his collage days he is also becomes movie buff and watched every movie. He was very much mesmerized by Acting and films. And one day his friend offer him a role in one act play for inter collage competition. Behll doesn't think for a second and said, "YES... I will". After that he never look back and finally he choose acting as his career. After completing his graduation, he did one year full time acting course from Himachal Culture Research Forum and Theater Academy, Mandi, Himachal Pradesh. Thereafter, he shifted to New Delhi and wants to join National School Of Drama, but he was rejected two times.
Career
Behll started his theater career in 1993. He worked for some time in Little theater Group repertory company, New Delhi and after that he worked in Sahitya Kala Parishad repertory, (Delhi Government) from 2000-2002 as a professional actor. He works in more than 70 plays. After that his destiny took him to the city of dreams, bollywood, Mumbai. He work in Movies, TV serials, Ad films and short films. Along with this he has also shown his writing skills in Film- Virsa(Punjabi). He was nominated for Virsa in 1st Punjabi Film Awards 2011, for the best Screenplay and Dialogue category.
