Art Nouveau week is an Italian event dedicated to Art Nouveau, held annually since 2019 in the week of July 8 to 14.
History
It is an international event that takes place in Italy dedicated to Art Nouveau organized and founded by the Italia Liberty association and the curator Andrea Speziali in the week from 8 to 14 July palaces and villas are open to the public on the occasion of this event. the chioice of the period by the curator, Andrea Speziali, stems from the desire to celebrate in particular two great international protagonists of Liberty: the Milanese architect Giuseppe Sommaruga and the Austrian Gustav Klimt, leading exponent of the Viennese Secession, as well as other important personalities such as Siegmund von Suchodolski,William Henry Bradley,Otto Wagner,Giovanni Michelazzi,Salvatore Gregorietti,Fernand Allard l'Olivier,Charles Cottet,Siegmund von Suchodolski and Alphonse Mucha; While everything closes with the memory of Alphonse Mucha on the day of his death in July 14.
