Person B will then hope that Person A will just give up and pay the bill. This is an example of an "Around the Corner Tech" explanation.
History The phrase began when people began to question the explanations given by Around the Corner Tech scammers. The Scammers made people believe that they were always close to an understandable answer. These victims believed their answer was just "Around the Corner," yet they found that they had to keep going "Around the Corner" in an endless maze.
Targets for Around the Corner Tech Senior citizens and the technically illiterate are prime targets for Around the Corner Tech. Since these people may have limited technical knowledge, they may be more wiling to accept the nonsense explanations that Scammers give as Around the Corner Tech.
How to fight Around the Corner Tech When taking your items for technical repair, always ask for detailed explanations of exactly what needs to be done. Challenge any charges that appear to be unnecessary. Always bring a technically-savvy friend to help assist in assessing repair.
