Arctic Adventures is an adventure tour and activity travel company headquartered in the Icelandic capital of Reykjavík.
The company provides a range of activities, including Silfra snorkeling and diving, caving, volcano hikes, glacier hiking and glacier cruising among other adventure travel-related services.

Arctic Adventures has a number of strategic regional and international partners, each specialising in a particular tour type. This “Arctic Family” includes Snowmobile.is, the hiking company Trek, glacier tour division Glacier Guides, underwater adventure tour site Dive Silfra, lake, river and ocean rafting tour specialists Arctic Rafting, Viking Rafting, Arctic Sea Kayaking, and Arctic Sea Tours with a dedicated Northern Lights tour partner Northern Lights Tours completing the family of partner businesses catering to the Icelandic tourism sector.
Recent expansion
The organisation has a staff of over 300 and recently opened an office in Lithuania. In 2017, the company bought rival adventure tour company Extreme Iceland ehf.
Certifications
Arctic Adventures has been awarded and has maintained the Vakinn Bronze Class Environmental Certificate which is an official recognition of the company’s high standards concerning sustainability, the environment and social responsibility.
Arctic Adventures is also officially registered with Ferðamálastofa, the Icelandic Tourist Board.

Arctic Adventures receives generally favourable reviews on crowd-sourced portals like TripAdvisor as has received as broad, positive coverage in international press publications such as the BBC, CNN, Huffington Post, The Times, The Guardian, The Independent and The Telegraph.
On TripAdvisor, 80% of reviewers awarded it 4 stars (which the site classifies as “excellent”) and it has an overall average rating of 4.5 out of 5.
Project Expedition has a lower number of reviewers, but across 7 reviews it rates Arctic Adventures with 5 stars.
Former CEO, Torfi G Yngvasson was interviewed by The Guardian, where he discussed the company, as well as Iceland's changing climate and geography.
