April Masini

April Masini (born 1964) is an American dating and relationship author. She founded the AskApril.com online magazine, the Ask April advice column and Q & A advice forum. She is also the author of four books related to dating and relationships.
Life
April was born in Fort Bragg, North Carolina, and grew up in an army family with one sister. The family moved around a great deal, eventually settling in Clarkesville, Georgia, where her parents ran a home for children with learning difficulties. Her parents separated when she was 15.
She studied business at Hofstra University in New York before dropping out to start a modeling and television career.
From January 1995 to early 2000, April was married to Al Masini, the founder, former President and CEO of Telerep - America's largest billing TV rep, accounting for 86% of all national spot expenditures, as well as syndicators Operation Prime Time and its successor Television Program Enterprises. April Masini currently lives in Naples, Florida.

Date Out Of Your League is described as "a book for the man ready to date the woman he wants and not one he is settling for". Think and Date Like a Man is aimed at "women who are ready to do what it takes to meet the man of their dreams and keep him". She also wrote Ideas For A Fun Date described as "A step-by-step guide to first dates, unique and memorable date ideas for those on a budget, plus fun and inexpensive dates for single parents (or grandparents) to do with kids"; as well as Romantic Date Ideas an instruction manual on how to "Plan romantic dates quickly, easily and inexpensively, find great "at home" dates, plus unique marriage proposal ideas and memorable ways to pop the question."
Entertainment executive
April is the President/CEO of Masini Television & Film Enterprises, LLC in Honolulu, and Masini Enterprises, Inc., in Los Angeles. She raised tens of millions of dollars in financing for productions such as Baywatch and Blue Crush; produced Destination Stardom, and was the catalyst behind the production and execution of high profile political events, such as the Hawaii Governor's Inaugural Gala, and the television productions Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous and The Miss Universe Pageant.
Other work
April also writes content for the two politically inspired online dating websites she created, DatingDemocrats.com and DatingRepublicans.com.
