Wind Twister <gallery> (WOW). In professional wrestling, he is a former three time WOW champion, having won the WOW Championship while in Houston, the cruiserweight Championship during his time on KWA, and the Heavyweight Championship immediately after being drafted to WOW. He has also won the top championships for many promotions such as Houston Wrestling Alliance. Since being drafted to WOW, he has won the Heavyweight Championship, followed by the Tag Team Championship (which he held with Alexis Urquia). Wind Twister initially came to prominence through his career on the professional wrestling independent circuit, primarily as a member of KWA roster, where he was an KWA Tag Team Champion, KWA Champion. In 2009, Wind Twister signed a contract with NWA and was sent to its developmental federation,WOW. Throughout his career, Wind Twister has consistently used the gimmick of being the extreme Cuban, a lifestyle he follows in real life. Depending on alignment as a crowd favorite or villain, different aspects of the culture are emphasized to encourage the desired audience reaction. Personal life Anubys Gutierrez was born in Pinar del Rio, Cuba on October 25, 1991 and was raised by his mother and father. He attends to New Caney high school, and its currently in his senior year. Anubys Gutierrez has made reference to two girlfriends in his early life. During his time with KWA, he was romantically linked to professional wrestlers Stephani Trevino and Carmen Ramirez. After joining WOW, Brooks began dating Maria Ramirez, who was working there as an interviewer.
